Customer Reviews
Excellent service and great workmanship. They match the colour of my red sole protecting my christianlouboutin shoes
Excellent customer service. Made to feel welcome and important in store. Friendly and very helpful staff and fantastic craftsmanship. Thank you.
Fantastic service, highly-highly recommend!!!
Amazing service and expertise!! It is not cheap, but you get what you pay for (I've learnt this the hard way)! The work is amazing and meticulously neat! If you want long-lasting quality work and advice, this is where you should go. Thank you for your work.

Excellent service and craftsmanship; very expensive.
I can trust Evans to do a perfect job to repair, dye or renovate my shoes and hand bags. Latest repair was one heel and I can’t tell which was damaged now.
Fantastic service - I needed soles put on new patent leather shoes by that afternoon - the team had it done on time, quality was fantastic and the price was very reasonable for the very high quality and speed of service. Thanks!
Supreme Quality & Service!
Exceptional service and quality. You can trust Evan’s with your most treasured items, although not cheap, they do an incredible job you will not be disappointed
Outstanding major repair on my English shoes of a legendary name, I get the feeling that the soles will be more durable than the previous repairs in London as the soles are German leather. The finish is superior to the factory repairs in London . Thank you.
Evans gets the job done I’ve been to them many times with some that would be written off from other place but great deal of value to me and they were able to fix like brand new! They are a little pricey but that’s what you have pay for good work I will continue going Evans leather with any of my leather issues they do great great work big and small thank you
Great result on shoe repairs. Fantastic staff and brilliant timeframe to have shoes done. Highly recommend
Absolutely awesome service from the Evans team. I had an old tanner and Krolle bag and the handle had dried and cracked. The Evens team handmade a new handle, but the best is yet to come, they did it twice to get the best match. Thank you Evans team!
So happy with the service and care Evans provided. Customer service was fabulous from my first phone call to attention in store. My repaired D&G boots, which I had left with them in their original box arrived via post in a gorgeous larger box, my original box inside a protective material bag. Thank you for your care, workmanship and stand out customer service. Much appreciated and you have a customer for life!! Highly recommend.
Great communication, high quality service and craftsmanship. My favourite bag has a new lease of life!
I am in Brisbane and while in Melbourne, dropped my very much loved jacket in for "refurbishment". it looked worn, scuffed, and a few minor tears. Today the jacket arrived, mailed back to Brisbane. WOW! The packaging was impressive. Then to open the box and find a jacket that looks better than i remember it new.. It looks magnificent. Fantastic job.
Very professional company, lovely polite lady behind the counter, job was completed much quicker than anticipated and to my satisfaction, and up to date ordering/invoicing system meant no annoying paperwork to remember for handing over at time of collection.
My beautiful red handbag broke when I overloaded it. The hardwear gave - a stud pulling through, with 2 cuts through the leather and a large graze. That and the wear of me hauling it around the world with me - it's my favourite. The repair is spectacular. It looks new (ish). The hardwear was perfectly matched, the tears repaired with only the tiniest scar in one instance (really unnoticeable) and the bag cleaned. Was it cheap - no. Was the customer service/experience good - it was fantastic. Was my $3,000 bag restored beautifully - it absolutely was. Was it worth it - hell yes! I cannot recommend Zoe and the team highly enough.
I 100% recommend this place. They have been around for ages and have a magnificent reputation that is well deserved. They revamped a little Chanel bag I had and did such a wonderful job...its like a new bag all over again...I'm very very grateful:-). Zoe is the perfect meet and greet front person...and a wiz sewer I have found out as she helped do my bag. Keep it up guys, and thanks again!
Fantastic service! Evans were able to repair a broken lock on my precious designer bag that my late mother had given me. It meant so much to receive it back in pristine condition. Thank you Evans.
Dear Zoe, I apologise for not replying earlier. The jacket is magnificent, the workmanship is extroadinary and I am so happy that something I treasure has been remade, so to speak, as new. I must congratulate you and your staff on an excellent job, not only in the workmanship, but in the professionalism your business has shown through keeping a client informed of the jacket progress. I will advocate your business to others and show them the jacket, which speaks for itself as a remarkable item of craftmanship with care and attention to detail to make it ' original '. Best of wishes to you and the staff. Bruce Donnelly Tamworth NSW
As I have been living in Europe for 8 years before COVID, I missed the magic craftsmanship of Evans, to whom I used to take my shoes and handbags for modification. I absolutely, without hesitation, highly recommend Evans for their very talented artisans in their flawless craft. Thank you Evans for creating magical beauty to my wedding shoes. Congratulations!! Dorville
I had my boots recently resoled and they look brand new! Evans did an amazing job thanks so much I’m going to get heaps more wear from my boots!
I was so thankful to find Evans Leather Repair online. I have sent several vintage designer shoes to them over the last couple years. They provide an excellent service. I have been extremely pleased with the quality of their work.
Evans was great, they fixed the leather on my RM Williams boots even after I was told by RM that they could do nothing to help.
Excellent and easy to use. Quality was very good. Would recommend.
Every few years I bring my shoes here for a rejuvenation. It costs the same or perhaps more than they cost to buy in the first place - but they come out sparkling, seams fixed, soles new, colour patched, little scratches gone. It’s a pleasure to have a place like Evans where craftsmen are paid decently to do good work and prolong the life of our objects (and make our feet happy),
The team at Evans are magic makers…we have used them on several occasions (puppy damage x 3 shoes) & the repairs & service are more than exceptional …have also used there service for stretching on sneakers & they are amazing …they deserve more than 5++++ stars
Evans' repairs to my loved but worn handbag has restored it back to life. Exceptional workmanship and great service in a historic location.
We just received our Louis Vuitton suit case after a major repair & we are over the moon. It looks like new & it was money well spent. I will definitely be using this company again should I need anything repaired.
Absolute rip-off! Go elsewhere. My CK backpack needed to be repaired; literally a couple of stitches on one of the straps (as seen in the photo). Evans quoted me $250!! That's almost what I paid for the bag itself, for a few stitches! I ended up going to Cobbleron who fixed it for $55 😂
I wouldn't trust my favourite Saint Laurent boots with anyone else. Always quality service.
Boots: Vibram sole replacement and restoration - Pricier than others but the quality of the work speaks for itself.
The team at Evans replaced a zip on my vintage Dior bag, the price was reasonable, they did a fantastic job! I love it! Thank you!
Excellent service, I paid $35 to re-heel some vintage pointed toe mules which were extremely badly damaged. They restored them within a day and also took the time to clean the soles and glue down some fabric that was coming off the toes, even though I didn’t specially request them. The woman working at the front desk is very knowledgeable and helpful too.
A lovely high quality leather repair service with charming staff. You get what you pay for, thanks to them my bag has never looked better. Cannot recommend them harder. :)
I was extremely happy with the result of my repair. The service I received was efficient and the communication with staff was fantastic
Thank you so much for getting the grease stain off my Louis Vuitton handbag, I was convinced that there wasn’t a chance it would come off. My handbag looks amazing again after the restoration clean. I also received valuable advice on how to handle the leather care on my bag. Fantastic service from the team! Thank you again!
Excellent service - extremely helpful in identifying a solution to a tricky situation
Took a jacket in for some simple seam repairs- staff were nice but I couldn't believe the estimate I was given, so left it for a formal quote. A few days later they confirmed, $450.00. Took the jacket back and found a local place, who did the same work plus some inside pocket fixing for $90.00, and it's a great job. Evans are nice people, and handy to my workplace, but I won't bother trying them again.
Extremely happy my boots of 25 years have been totally rejuvenated. Staff are very helpful and efficient
I found Evans on line. I live in Brisbane and they are based in Melbourne. The whole experience was so easy. I emailed them and they responded . We corresponded back and forth with queries. All were answered promptly. They shipped a box to me with all address labels and packaging for my shoes. Once they completed my shoes, they shipped it back to me in a very well packaged box. The shoes were back to new, and they went above and beyond to what I expected. Would go back there in a second for any future repairs.
My 17 year old classic Burberry bag has been restored beautifully. Not only do I get to keep a bag that has sentimental value, it is now in such good shape that I’ll be able to pass it on to the next generation.
I took my two favourite pairs of boots to Evans to be repaired and they did such a phenomenal job. Definitely recommend these guys!!
What a great store!!! Leather experts who apply their skills to regular repairs and unusual repairs. Thanks.
Sent my bag for a repair and was happy with the customer service and the overall result. Thank you.
I am really happy to pick up my 34 yrs old Repaired Boot. The severed Scuff marks on my Nubuck Leather boots are being repaired which is better than I expect. They have clean, conditioned and waterproofed. I believe it can be worned for another 34 years. I will recomend anyone to repair any Leather products to the store. Thanks!!
Exemplary workmanship. My new vibram soles and heels look absolutely stunning! Top-notch service all round.
Happy with entire process. I appreciated that they took care of everything and made the process of getting damaged shoes to them. Not cheap, but you get what you pay for.
Went there with a pair of boots perfect in every way - the kind of investment pair you know you're going to be wearing for years and years - but for the colour, which was too light for my liking. The person at the counter (sorry, I didn't catch her name) informed me of the (admittedly pricey) cost for dyeing the leather, but took the time to explain cheaper, DIY options. I didn't feel confident I could pull it off so I decided to bite the bullet, but I appreciate I wasn't pressured to go for the expensive option. During the process Evans texted me a picture to make sure this is what I wanted, so I was kept in the loop. I just came back from collecting the boots and couldn't be happier - the colour is just what I wanted and it has a lovely, natural-looking patina (see before and after). Quality work, totally worth it! thank you to all involved :)
They quoted me $1500 to fix some very minor/tiny scuffs on my Chanel bag. I sent the bag to them in March. They sent it back a month later and had half done the bag. They discoloured the gold colour on the bag so I sent it back to them again to fix it - now its been 3 months, I still have no bag and I feel sick to the stomach they ruined my gorgeous Chanel bag & I have heard nothing from them. Wouldnt recommend.
Thank you to the fabulous team at Evans for the wonderful service and for restoring my Chanel backpack. Your magnificent workmanship and attention to detail went beyond what I thought was possible. My bag looks as beautiful as it looked when I bought it. Again thanks Lyn Parche
Really amazing place. Artisan leatherwork, reasonably priced and amazing service (Zoe is awesome). Highly recommend for any leather stuff that is special to you because these guys treat it with love.
I did not believe my beloved louboutin's and valentino's were repairable. Evans customer service from start to finish was immaculate. There was not a single clue that my shoes had been chewed by my naughty puppy. Will definitely be returning. What beautiful craftsmanship and expertise in leather work. I won't go anywhere else! Thank you Evans!
Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Extremely pleased with the result of my repair and the fast service they provided. Would highly recommend this business.
Evans Leather Repairs did excellent work on my damaged Christian Louboutin shoes. The red soles are well repaired & ready for action! Communication was very good & repair done promptly. Cost was reasonable considering the work they needed.
My only recommendation would be that they would clean the shoes as well. The repairs were pricey but the job was exemplary. It was only disappointing to have the shoes returned not polished. They were patent leather so it wouldn’t take much. Just that next level of service.
Prompt and professional service using quality materials. You get sms and email notification from start to end of transaction. You'll also get a photo of the completed work when your item is ready for collection. Highly recommended.
Very helpful and professional. Took the time to answer all my queries
Excellent service, excellent quality of work.
Really impressed by the service and expertise here. Don't take your things elsewhere to save a few $ and risk having your goods ruined. These guys are amazing and do a beautiful job.
I had high expectations due to the reviews, but got disappointed. They were fixing my satin toes and in the process had messed up the colour so significantly the shoes looked entirely different and still tried to give them back to me had I not insisted of them being fixed again. Eventually after 3 months they refurbished the shoe but left glue residue and pencil marks on the satin. I was tired of arguing so I took the shoe home. Very disappointed as they seemed very professional.
Thank you so much for getting my beloved Doc Martens back on the road-they look like they'll be good for a number of years. And when they do need new soles again I'll come straight to you since you did such a superlative job. Lisa J.
Thank you to the staff at Evans they did an amazing job with my purse and wonderful customer service Thanks Helen
I’ve been taking my beloved shoes to Evans for a long time. Great service, top shoe care products and repairs are spot on! Highly recommended.
Excellent service yesterday at the Echuca store! Had a great chat with the lady that served me, such a seamless shopping experience and came away with the exact boots I went in for. Could really feel the family owned vibe too. Cheers guys!
Cannot praise the Evan's team highly enough! They restored my vintage leather jacket to new! I couldn't believe how great it looks. Thank you so very much. You're the best!
I highly recommend Evans repair. I've use their services twice to repair my beloved shoes. I find the people lovely to deal with and the work exceptionally done.
Thank you Jenny and the team for the exceptional and friendly service. You went above and beyond and the result is perfect
I’ve had several favourite bags and shoes renewed, re-sprayed, stretched or otherwise altered by Evans over the years. Jenny knows exactly what I want as soon as I begin explaining and I couldn’t be happier with the care and attention lavished on my precious items. They come back like new! Evans are the best and I recommend them wholeheartedly!
I got my weared-down black Chanel Classic Lambskin Bag repaired and received amazing results. Would highly recommend this place, thank you so much.
I came to Evans with a pretty rough bag and they've done such an amazing job! Everyone I was in contact with was helpful and knowledgeable and made the whole process incredibly easy. The text message system is also super handy. I'll definitely be returning
Top quality repair and restoration/revitalisation on loved premium bags. Expensive, but worth it to have the bags back to their former glory. Excellent communication, turn around time and customer service. Very professional. Will always return to their business.
Superb service and highly skilled personnel, top quality. You get what you pay for.
Restored my 22 yr old large noe louis vuitton bag back to its lovely honey coloured leather. It had marks and stains underneath due to general wear and tear, they are now all gone. It looks superb. My matching purse was also split inside and this was fixed too. Thanks team fantastic job.
Impeccable workmanship on shoe re-sole - friendly service - quick turnaround (24 hrs)
Counter staff were helpful and informative. Once my coat had been treated, it was carefully packaged and couriered back to me. Would recommend.
Evans Leather repairs and restores shoes with high quality materials, excellent and highly skilled input, delivered on time, at reasonable prices. BAG
Excellent workmanship and professional service!
From the beginning of my association with Evans, I found them to be very helpful and responsive to any questions I had about my shoes being fixed. Nothing was ever too much trouble and they always had time to answer any question or help me with any problem I might have been having, like getting my shoes down to them in Melbourne. I highly recommend Evans to anyone needing quality repairs to their shoes. I look forward to dealing with them again sometime in the near future.
A huge thanks to Jenny and the Evans team who restored my gorgeous Bag. I was thrilled with the work and their timing was perfect. The bag was turned around in a super quick time to facilitate a birthday gift.. So Many Many thanks to all involved. :)
I can't tell you how happy I am with the service I received at Evans. They have just re-dyed a Balenciaga bag I bought a number of years ago and it looks almost brand new. The colour match was going to be difficult because it was a smoky blue but they managed to match the colour perfectly. The service was friendly, efficient and very professional. I would definitely recommend them and use them again.
The customer service at Evans has been good. They were responsive, fielded my questions, and were flexible about options fixing my bag. The whole process (enquiry, to sending my bag over, having it examined, deciding on the work to be done, and having it returned) took over a month so if urgent repair is needed it should be requested at the outset. I was really impressed with the quality when my bag was returned to me. My bag had a strap broken and they crafted a new strap which was identical to the old one. I am now able to use my beloved bag again! Therefore I highly recommend their service.
I just walked past, but it looked nice
I took a few items into Evans including 2 designer sneakers that had so much wear and tare I had stopped wearing them. When I received the sneakers back they looked like I just purchased them from the store! I was beyond amazed! I also had a pair of Chanel wedding shoes I had bought to wear at my wedding at the end of the month but the shoe strap was giving me excruciating pain & I couldn’t figure out why as the shoes fit perfectly and the strap wasn’t too tight! As soon as I took them into Evans they assessed the problem and told me that they need to loosen the strap to allow me to have that give as the strap was sitting too low on my foot - mind you they’re saying so it was a little risky as glue stains cannot be cleaned off the satin! When I received my shoes and put my feet into them I couldn’t stop crying from happiness! I thought I was going to have to change my shoes as they were so uncomfortable & with the wedding so close it was very distressing, but Evans made it work & I’m forever grateful!
I can’t recommend Evans enough !! I had leather Vachetta trim replaced on my vintage LV bag & it looks like new . The communication was faultless & so simple . The process from postage interstate to receiving my bag took just over a week . Recommend Evans 100%
great work, very helpful and flexible.
Top notch quality / customer service & overall experience - These guys have to be the best in Melbourne for sure! Old school principles around customer service & quality of their product & care - Yes it may be a higher investment than other repairers, but it reflects itself in the overall experience received. I will never go anywhere else!
A M A Z I N G! Got my sole fixed in no time and good as new. The staff is professional and friendly. I am glad that I found this wonderful local legend.
They fixed the magnet on my handbag. No where else in Melbourne could fix it, thank goodness for evans.
Brought in a much loved and rare Gucci bag I’ve had for a long time that was in need of rejuvenation after almost daily use for 5-6 years. The interior fabric lining was rather stained (a rogue strawberry) and the exterior piping and base of the bag were beginning to wear and fray. Minor scratches and marks to the leather generally. I’d taken the bag to Gucci who had quoted $890 to recondition the bag inside and out and replace the interior in full which was to take 3-4 months for the work to be done at their workshops in Italy (COVID still prolonging lead times). I’m sure Gucci would’ve done a good job but I looked locally to see what I could get done here. Royal Bag Spa quoted $740 and a 6 week turnaround. Then I went to Evans, recommended by a friend. The staff there are very pleasant and informative; they were able to offer a quote of $450 for the work and a turnaround of 7 days! They explained that the interior would be washed with a special solution, rather than replaced, and that should remove most of the staining. If not we could look to get it replaced for additional charge. I picked up my bag a week later and the bag looks like the day I bought it! No scratches, piping repaired beautifully, and new wax borders applied to the handles. The interior was looking a lot better, though some of the more stubborn stains remained, but I was prepared for that being the case and was glad to accept the bag as it was. They had also waterproofed the bag which has a 6 month guarantee. All in all, great service, remarkably quick work, and exceptionally friendly and personable staff in a very handsome shop full of tradition and excellence. Will definitely be going back for all my leather work. Thank you to the team at Evans!
Evans were amazing. They were accomodating, helpful, efficient and above all super friendly. They spent time with me assisting me in making the right decision. I would recommend Evans to all of my friends. Thank you Evans for great quality service.
Have a pair of very comfortable well made shoes. The original soles were more suited to soft surfaces and less than daily walking. These old crepe rubber soles that had seen the end and needed replacing. The replacement soles, while expensive, are terrific and the workmanship in replacing the soles was top notch (see photo). I do believe I will get another handful of years out of these shoes and the will continue to get move comfortable with time :-)
I had another experience from another place. So my bag wasn’t 100% either was I. But from the moment from emailing my quote I felt confident it would get fixed properly. They know their stuff. Drop off I was felt even more better, and when I picked my bag up she (haha) looked brand new I’m so happy and I was literally thinking the bag was not repairable. I will now be going to Evans for all my bag needs!!! Anyone that has handbag or shoes or leather issues/cleaning this is your go to!!! Thankyou Evans again, you will definitely see me again!!!!
Great service and excellent craftsmanship. On time and good value. Would certainly use again - highly recommended.
Pretty disappointing. $50 for two new belt holes and they're not consistently aligned. A fraction more care and it would've been 5 stars, despite the job taking more than a week to complete.
Huge thank you!! The shoes I ordered for an event on Friday arrived in less than 24 hours! And they are so perfect!
My shoes were re-coloured, as one had faded in the store window prior to purchase. The end result is beautiful. I was kept in the loop via text concerning how the job was progressing. All up, a very satisfactory outcome. I recommend Evans.
Fantastic work by the craftspeople at Evans! I had a damaged R. M. Williams wallet that I wanted repaired as I love it to death, and they repaired it and gave it back to me better than new!! Service was quick and professional. Would recommend to anyone who wants excellent repair work done on their leather goods.
So impressed with the quality of my shoe restoration. Lovely staff too!
Outstanding service as usual. Highly recommend.
Thanks so much for the excellent job done on my aged Baxter boots. My feet and I look forward to another 20 years of comfort.
After a not so good experience Evans support team go in touch and resolved things quick smart. If this was the experience from the beginning this would be a 5 star review. I would have given a 3.5 but couldn't so 4 it is.Thanks team for resolving things as you did.
Do not recommend Evans - very bad
Repair of tear in Leather Jacket was done very well and quicker than originally quoted. Not cheap
Great service cost effective solution and I get my favourite boots back with expert care!
I do not usually give written reviews but I felt strongly about this one. I went to the store and requested metal toe pieces be inserted on my thrice worn RM Williams. I was served by Jen (not sure of her name) who condescendlingly replied that I should have come before the shoe had been worn. Despite this and the hefty $120, I persisted with the order due to their allegedly superior workmanship. When I arrived to pick up my shoes, I was handed shoes with protective soles and NO toe pieces by Desi (a different store clerk). When I said that it was not what I had asked for I was met with a blank stare and a response of "I don't know what to say", no offer of a refund was given. She promptly left the counter to go upstairs, possibly to escalate the issue although she did not tell me this. I stood there for several minutes and was so annoyed I just left with my shoes. What irks me most is that this business justifies its high prices with claims of providing superior customer satisfaction but they couldn't even get my order correct. The workmanship wasn't anything beyond what I'd have gotten from my regular cobbler in terms of the protective soles. What an absolute joke. Just go to a regular cobbler.ADDIT:This issue was resolved in a quick and efficient manner by support staff at Evans.
Excellent, fast and professional turn around. Don’t waste your time or money going anywhere else!
Fabulous service. All staff I dealt with really knew about shoe repairs. The actual repair (full resolve) was extremely well done - real craftsmanship.I feel very confident about the quality repair and excellent staff.Worth the money.
I’m so thrilled I took my water logged louboutin wallet to Evans. They restored it to as new condition. I was worried about it, but they did such a magnificent job!! And the service was first class throughout, and finished a week earlier than quoted. Would highly recommend for all works to designer goods, so impressed.
Friendly courteous staff.Uses good material.Sole - really nice finish.Restorative clean - very nice finish.Efficient service.
Great knowledgeable service shown by the staff. Repairs done quickly and within the time frames provided on paving the order.
Both the girls are so helpful, offering advice on any item.
Very professional service for leather repair.
Great old-fashioned, professional and friendly service. Nothing is too much trouble! Thank you to all at Evans. It is also a wonderful experience to visit your shop and see the old world charm of the spiral staircase and the beautifully-crafted cabinetry.
My three year old Balenciaga City Bag was looking worse for wear. The stitching had frayed on the handles and the lovely blue colour had faded. I dropped off my bag to Evans and picked it up under 4 weeks later. It has been restored to its beautiful blue colour and the stitching has been repaired perfectly. It also has been carefully cleaned. My bag looks brand new. I would highly recommend and trust Evans for any designer leather goods that need repair. Pricing is at a premium but is justified by the high quality of their work and friendly service. Thank you Evans !
Excellent repair, even though tricky, and professional and friendly customer service.
Fantastic shoe repairs as always.
Quality of work to fix a satchel was first rate
Evans wanted to charge me $65 to repair a strap for my bag... for a single brass rivet and about 10 seconds of hammering. On top of that, if I wanted it done that day I had to pay an extra $25. Save your money and go to Max's instead. Same job for 5 bucks, done on the spot.
ALL GOOD!!!
Very friendly knowledgeable staff member- happy to recommend to potential customers. Sue E 👵🏻🌺
Very bad service.. the staff not knowledgeable at all and they refer to the manager which after the bad service they refused to refund and to meet with us ... not having the courage to speak or call us back on the phone ... not recomnding this place even to the people I dislike ... not even one star ...
Excellent customer services. You will get email and text updating on the progress of your service. Quality of the work is great too. I had protective soles and water proof done on my leather ballet flats. They look fantastic!!! Highly recommended
Everything was easy and professional. I had my arms shortened by 8cm on my leather jacket and it is perfect.
Over 30 years ago, as a teenager I inherited a custom made pair of cowboy boots from my father..I've worn them continuously on countless adventures and misadventures and loved them dearly.. But they were dirty, really dirty and showed their age.As a prime example of the merit of buying quality once I figured they deserved to be restored properly and professionally. Enthused by words such as, cleaned, nourished and restored I agreed to most every option and paid over $1000..(!!)While dirty and scuffed the boots carried a patena that told a story. Retaining the character was specifically discussed, with reference in particular to the top of the boots that were beautifully uneven but natural and not as worn.I'll skip the bit about it taking over 5 weeks longer than told and the weekly request for updates. Then told they were posted and seemingly lost in the post. (tracking code registered as delivered but didn't turn up until over a week later). So when they finally arrived I was beside myself with excitement and relief that they weren't lost in transit..When I opened them I pretty much just wanted to have a bit of a cry.I feel like I've sent an antique timber table off for beeswax and oil restoration and they've said..Here you go we painted it Brown.A thick layer of matt baby-poo brown to be exact...Instead of telling the story of life it looks like a pair of cheap and nasty probably fake leather boots..I don't even know what to say to them. I actually wonder whether it was deliberate punishment for 'harassing' them with weekly requests for updates after the due date ..I had a bit of trouble finding a before shot, but what do you think, $1000 to change this to that? There's a picture of the inside of the boot where you can see the beautiful original fawn tones of the leather...UPDATE - To be fair they are trying to contact me, but I just don't know what to say to them.I'm not saying don't use this company, they're clearly good at some things. Just make sure you have your expectations matched to what they can and can't do. We did discuss the patina and character of the leather before hand so I'm confused about the comments on dying now. I was under the impression the dying before after would look more like the jacket on their website examples. My disappointment is that it looks more like thick paint that what I imagine as 'dye'. Up close it barely looks like real leather. I thought nourished and hydrated would improve the leather from within and dyeing would be a rich polish like finish. It just isn't.The boots were dilapidated, and maybe in trying to make them look 'new' an ugly masking approach was taken. But we talked in detail about the boots, I never expected to look new, I just wanted them to last longer and look more presentable, faults and all.Had they checked in with me at points along the way and given me input on options we might have had a different outcome. Because the outcome does not reflect the original discussions we had.I won't address the delays (got the email trail) as that is a secondary issue, but suffice to say it was substantially longer than every indication along the way.UPDATE 2Discussion have progressed and Jenny is genuinely intent to make good. The boots have been sent back after long discussions and recap of what was actually expected. I can commend them on their positive attitude towards the issue and lack of defensive mindset.I'm changing my rating from 1 to 3 in anticipation of a good second attempt.FINAL UPDATE - To their credit they took them back and did a solid job of restoring them to the way that was discussed and expected. It was a traumatic experience, but they do have the skills. I'd jut make sure that your wants and expectations are outlined precisely in the first instance.
So good to have genuine good old service with a smile. Work on shoes and boots are excellent.Lionel
As usual, excellent and very prompt service from Evans, and high quality materials used. One other thing I like about Evans is that if you ask for advice on shoe care, it’s always very helpful.
thanks - always rescuing my jackets. not the cheapest repair place in melbourne but the best.
Evans did a really nice job of applying good quality sole protectors and also building up the heel and front of my shoes where they had worn down from wear. The shoes look new again. Very helpful and pleasant staff and fast service. You get what you pay for.
Do not recommend at all. Staff are very rude. Do not take your designer shoes here for heel repair.
Evans were lovely to deal with and fixed my bag up perfectly :)
Bought 2 pairs of RM Williams and without compromise to quality both pairs had protective soles put on them .The quality of workmanship was outstanding, the staff were really friendly and helpful and the system of customer notification faultless. Also has my daughters baby shoes bronzed here a few months ago - don’t think there is anywhere else in Melbourne that does this - fabulous result .My family has used Evans since the. 1960’s when the original Evan was their neighbour and we could drop off in Noth Caulfield . Could not recommend more highly after nearly 60 years of being a customer.
Workmanship is outstanding. The front of store team at Evans were fabulous and nothing was too much trouble. Not cheap but I am a firm believer in you get what you pay for 👍👍
Very warm, helpful and kind service 😊Finding the right matching laces for my favourite yet quite ordinary shoes was an adventure that led me from one shoe store to another and another...disappointment slowly solidifying into resignation. Until today.
Professional and friendly staff in a wonderful little shop did great work. It was clear they knew what they were talking about
This place rocks for it’s fair pricing and the boss man is old School and let me take my repaired heel and go back to pay cash.
This is not a review on their workmanship as I chose not to proceed with the job. I was taken aback by the arrogance of the manager. She would benefit from a lesson in customer service.
True masters at their craft!
The quality of craftsmanship at Evans is unequalled. Be prepared to pay for this level of quality. A loved leather bag I'd previously had repaired destroyed the handle. Evans repaired it to the original state with a stronger handle.
Very happy with the re-heel and re-sole of my Louboutins!
Excellent service and premium customer experience. Would highly recommend.
An incredible institution. The expertise is second to none. I was completely overjoyed when l found out that Evan’s could fix my old glomesh bag handed down by my mother. Is there anything they can’t fix??
Best service. Also, I could not have imagined my shoes turning out so well. Thank you!
Outstanding service
Evans do quality work - they can generally be relied upon to give good service. However, their prices are exorbitant. $35 to have my stilettos re-healed? Most other shoe repair shops charge about $20. I recently asked for a quote to have my handbag handles replaced - they quoted $300 (almost as much as the cost of the whole bag) for leather handles. I went elsewhere and was quoted $50 for leather handles. The salespeople are very friendly and nice so I dislike having to give them this less than glowing review.
High quality products with a focus on getting to know the customers personal needs, only main criticism is it's on the pricey side.
Complex job was well done, simple jobs over charged and messed up 😑 They stained the base of my boots, had to bring them back. The fact that I had to point it out, bring them back and recollect them was disappointing, as I expected attention to detail given the reputation and price. They did a really good job on my beloved flats that needed a lot of love. But the simple job of my boots could've been done better elsewhere for half the price and half the hassles! Although they have removed the stain I am concerned about how the spot treatment will impact the way the boots wear and age...I am glad I brought my flats here but wish I had of brought my boots elsewhere
Helpful and friendly repairs.
Old fashioned service and old fashioned (and therefore, detailed) attention to workmanship. Top address but reasonable prices. There are many famous cities in the world that don't have such a handy place to give life back to ones treasured leathergoods.
Brand new leather shoes stretched until it broke. Staff did not acknowledge, just brushed off the issue and said that’s the way it should be. Only use their service if you are willing to write off your shoes.
I had a Prada handbag I had damaged and wanted it to be repaired.I tried to explain the situation - what I had used and wanted an explanation of what could be done. I had already gone to the handbag spa on Colin's Street and they wanted to give me the highest priced service with no guarantee/explanation of what could be done. The old gentlemen behind the counter at Evans couldn't understand/speak English very well; but I left in my bag because the business is well regardedGot the bag back, no real difference. It's not a bag I use often and over the next few weeks/month I noticed the coating on the zips had come of, there was product on the material part of the zip and also on the badge. I wasn't happy.I took the bag back for an explanation and a heated argument started. Anyway Prada replaced the zips (at a cost to me) and it hasn't happened since.I wasn't happy with the pre or post service and I was hesistant again to get my bag repaired. However I took a punt in the suburbs and got two bags cleaned/made brand new in Glen Waverley. The service and price was second to none, I receommend for your handbags ladies.Reply to comments from manager: this happened a while ago and I doubt you will find anything from searching "E E" (my google display name).Strangely enough when I was at your shop they asked me to prove they repaired the bag. I didn't keep the receipt but I have since found the sticker to guaranteeing the workman ship. A picture of this sticker is uploaded to images. Your repair guy surely would have known about this sticker.Shame that nothing was done about my issue - all the leather repair guy did was show me the spray (it was in a maroon can) and say it wouldn't do damage.i will almost certainly have pictures on my phone.Maybe you were the manager in the shop that day, because the older guy before me didn't want to pay $700 to have his antique suitcase repaired (it was stuck together instead of hand sewed). The other gentlemen asked to speak to Mr Evans and I vaguely remember a female. This would have happened a while ago, a couple of years.I’m reply to your “we’ve changed management” you state on your website “The businesss remains within the same family“, it’s the same business.
I like how Evans underpromised and overdelivered. I gave them two pairs of shoes to work on and this is how they turned out:1. Favourite Studded Leather Boots:Very impressed with how they've managed to turn my absolutely worn-down, wine-stained and ripped leather boots into a very presentable pair of staple boots. The dents in the leather were initially very noticeable and ugly, but they've managed to reduce it to such an extent that unless you pick the shoes up and know where to look, you can barely detect it. They've done some amazing re-sole work too. I don't know what my feet are made of, but I've managed to wear the heel and front soles down completely. The rubber soles are such a treat to walk in.2. Leather Stilettos:Rubber soles and cleanly re-done heels. It looked sharp and sturdy. Anyone who's ever worn a pair of stilettos will know that you need grip and good padding, or you might as well not walk. I cannot wait to deck these out again now that it's getting warmer.I needed these done ASAP when I went in last Sunday--no later than Thursday evening. Sarah promised me Thursday morning. Guess what time I got my shoes back? Tuesday evening.Bottom line: you will be forking out a bit of money. Can't lie about this--my two jobs were not in any way economical, but you will be pleasantly surprised with the results. I'm not a reviews sort of person, but I respect businesses that don't promise customers the world or try to say things to make them feel better but delivers better than what you expect in actual quality.
Very expensive! When l asked why so pricey l was told they provide personalised service. As I'm after a shoe repair not a relationship I found a less expensive repairer who completed the job perfectly.
Quality work, quality service. Can't ask for more. Thank you Evans!I brought in a Dainese motorcycle jacket for repair to replace the main zipper. Job was botched by another provider.
If you want your shoes ruined come here. He’ll dye your shoes and claim that you asked him to do it and charge you $475 for destroying your shoes and wasting his time.Jenny. This is before you came along and before he got a computer. Perhaps ask your boss how many people hes ripped off and shoes he’s ruined since Anita left. I used to be a very good customer but I’ve taken my money and my shoes elsewhere.
Did a perfectly fine job at applying a new protective sole to leather shoes but outrageously expensive at $65. Shop around as on a simple job you can get the same quality work for half the price elsewhere in the CBD.
Was thoroughly impressed with the end to end service at Evans. Very friendly staff, competent and fast turn around. I'd highly recommend using them. They seem honest and understand quality craftsmanship. I'll be back sooner than later.
I've been taking my leather shoes to Evan's to be re-soled for years. I'm always super impressed with the quality of the work.
Shoddy quality and no responsibility.I had rubber heals installed and they developed a squeaking sound. Went to the store and they would not repair. Only lasted 3 months.I have since been contacted by the shop and they have resolved the issue. I will put this down to one bad staff member rather than the whole store. I will be happy to go back.
Evans done a fabulous job of dying my white leather wedding shoes which had accidentally became marked before the big day. Really fast turn around and lovely customer service - thank you!
High quality workmanship. Fast and friendly service. Had my shoe hand stitched after the sides’ lines snapped (personally valuable pair of shoes). Used a multilayered thread very close to original; barely notice any difference!. Also best value compared to nearby shoe repairers. Highly recommend for similar jobs for sure.
Great customer service!
Went there for protective sole for my new leather shoes. Price was reasonable and quality of work is fantastic. Wish I found this place earlier the staff are also very friendly.
Amazing quality service and restoration of my wife's handbag - absolutely like a new handbag again, from a very neglected state. The photos speak for themselves. Very highly recommended
Always professional and kind 🙌
Great selection of shoe laces and super friendly staff!
I don't normally write reviews but this place was just AMAZING - I completely trashed a pair of suede shoes but thought I'd bring them here just in case there was something they could do (after a friend's recommendation) and they look brand new again!! 10/10 - will definitely be back!
I came in with my favorite pair of shoes almost destroyed at the heel. I had tried fixing it myself the night before but just made it worse. The leather was coming apart and little button on the bottom falling off. I went into the repair shop with 15 minutes left on my break and they instantly fixed them! it cost $25 and they are as good as new. Highly recommend this place ! fantastic service, efficient and really friendly !
I came into Evans needing new heel tips on my favourite pair of high heels. They did them on the spot and they look good as new. I would never consider going anywhere else after coming to Evan's - thank you so much! I highly recommend Evan's services to anyone intending to go there!
The repair in here is amazing. Dennis able to restore a pair of sentimental value shoes to me!
I had them fix the strap on a leather messenger bag. Amazing quality of work and they turned it around in less than a week. The shoulder strap is stronger than when I first bought it and I know it's going to last me a very long time. STRONGLY recommend them if you need anything fixed!
Great workmanship and attentive service.
Great service 😊
Went in for an opinion to stretch my leather boots. Was told it can't be done and was told the only option was to add leather for a mere $350. I almost went with this option as evens is apparently a trusted name in the industry. However, I decided to get a second and third opinion and both said stretching could be done. I paid $45 and it worked! Before you go with evens think again or you will be ripped off.
My pink leather heels were worn out. Their colour doesn't match any shoes polish available through general retail so I had them restored at Evans. The results are amazing! My heels look brand new!I also got them to clean my Leather/suede handbag that I spilt a latte into when it was open! They cleaned the coffee stained mess perfectly and applied leather protection to hopefully prevent further damageEvery thing was restored by hand, the attention to detail is obvious. I recommend Evans for anyone who wants their high quality leather items repaired/preserved
Needed a quick repair on some boots while on a layover. The folks were very helpful and did the fix in a very short time. Even offered me coffee from the shop next door. Enjoyed visiting with Mr. Evans, who started the shop 63 years ago.
An unbelievably good repair for a pair of shoes I thought I'd have to throw away. They look like new. Thanks guys, great communication, great service.
A fantastic little shop for all your leather-related needs. Prompt customer service and quality workmanship.
Took my boots in to be dyed from brown to black. I was a little hesitant as they were expensive boots & I was worried the dyeing process would compromise the quality of the leather or the colour wouldn't be quite right. Lovely staff, prompt service (texted me the NEXT DAY to say they were finished !!) and I am SO happy with the result. Not only is the colour perfect, but the process has actually improved the leather. It's like I have a brand new pair of boots 😊 Would highly recommend this service - thank you !!
highly regarded in Melbourne amongst shoe enthusiasts due to their quality of work. I recently had a pair of ferragamo heels restored here and can personally vouch that they do a fantastic job. For those looking for a bargain you may be disappointed, their work doesn't come cheap. An excellent service for those in the more expensive spectrum of the shoe market.
I paid $45 to get protective soles put on a pair of Luciano Padovan heels I purchased from Myer. Quality of the work was very good, but I am little worried that I overpaid for the job. Seemed a simple enough procedure to stick some rubber on the soles! Admittedly, I haven’t had much experience with these kind of services so may have to shop around next time.
some good experiences here, would recommend using evans services
great work and reasonably priced
Very high quality repairs
Had my diamante sandals fixed ( no other shoe maker would touch)they ended up looking brand new again.Well worth every cent , Mr Evans you are fantastic. Thanks.
Very knowledgeable staff, high quality work, definitely worth the price.
I had protective soles put on my loafers here, very pleased with the work.
Evans is one of the few remaining places in Melbourne that does specialty work in leather repairs. I have used their services several times now and high quality workmanship is what you should expect. They have the expertise to accomplish a wide range of jobs. Unfortunately their customer service can be a little hit and miss. Staff seem to lose track of items and a few times I have made the trip into the city only for my items not to be ready on the specified date. Make sure you call ahead.
Friendly and knowledgeable staff that have beautiful products for cleaning shoes. Haven't tried any of their services, but would trust them.
Called me afterwards to see if I was happy with their work - very friendly and helpful.
Came past here for a shoe polish, lady was very helpful and also ended up buying a leather conditioner and horse hair brush. Staff are very knowledgable and give great advice in looking after your expensive shoes / leather items.
I had a black leather jacket that I've had for about 15 years refurbished and dyed black again. The shoulders and cuffs were fading. They did a great job and I'm really happy with it. It looks like new again. Really happy with their work and they are very friendly to deal with in the shop too.Def'ly go there again for any future leather repairs.
Poor workmanship and poor customer management!! I was referred to Evans by the Chanel Boutique in Melbourne to shorten a Chanel belt. They charged me $60 to shorten the belt and they advised me that the belt would look the same I.e stitching etc. When the lady was measuring me up I decided to give myself about 5mm of wriggle room so I was expecting the belt to be a tiny bit loose after the adjustment. When I received the belt however, it was way too loose - a whole inch (25mm) too big. In addition to that, they missed a whole seam of stitching accross the belt (which helped secure a loop of leather) which the original belt had. So after a week, I took the belt back to Evans as I could not wear it because it was way too big - they advised me that they would have to charge me again since it was "a lot of work" for them to redo the job even though the lady admitted that it's a lot looser than what it should have been. In hindsight, at that point I really should have walked away and taken it elsewhere.. But at the time I just wanted a wearable belt, and after some negotiation they agreed to reducing the fee to $30 (I'm still unsure why I had to pay more money for their own mistake - I'm sorry but 5mm does not equate to 25mm). So after the 2nd set of alterations the belt was finally the correct length - but the workmanship was just shocking! I only looked at it properly when I got home - the leather was cut wonky and asymmetrical; parts of the leather that is supposed to be hidden at the back of the belt is now sticking out on the side - visible from the front; the leather wasn't shaved thin enough where it folds over and is now too bulky so the leather looks like it's going to tear where the stitching goes through because it's so thick; and of course the missing seam that secured the belt loop is still missing but it's now an issue because the glue that secured the belt loop looks like it's coming apart!! What a mess. I feel like I took my Chanel belt to Evans to get butchered and I haven't even had a chance to wear it :( plus I got charged extra for them to butcher it again! please don't take your expensive leather goods there - it's not worth it. I'm going to contact Chanel to advise them of my experience so they stop telling their clients to go to Evans! So disappointing!
I brought my leather bag to Evans because the inner lining had worn out and the colour was fading to a lighter brown. I was told by a lady at the counter that the workers would make a new lining and the colour would be "touched up". I was unsure if the price would be worth it but after consulting with a friend who had used Evans services before I decided to go ahead. After several days I received a text saying my bag was ready for collection and went into the shop for pick up. They had completely replaced the lining and changed the colour back to a darker brown. I was very pleased that the colour change had not ruined the texture or feel of the leather. It was a bit pricey but still highly recommended.
I've had my sandals for 2 years and i absolutely love them so i was devastated when the sole came off. I got my friend to drop them off at Evans and they only took a few days - they were replaced by rubber non-slip soles. They are as good as new! Thanks Evan!
Thank you Mr. Evans for restoring my favorite leather jacket. The price was well worth it. Thank You!
A few years ago I had the rubber replaced on both heels. Evans was more expensive price than other shoe repair services at the time , & on pick up day they weren't actually ready. Disappointing
These guys are premium. They are expensive but very high quality. I was given very good advice which was verified by an industry veteran. They are true cobblers and hand work these goods. If you buy a pair of $30 shoes from rivers go to Mr minute. If you acctully buy quality goods then these guys are the ones you take your $700 sendra boots to. Anyone can put a strap on a handbag but if you want a high quality hand made strap that will last for 10 years instead of 6 months then theses are the guys you see.I found some staff helpful and spent 20minutes talking about how to care for my leather goods.
I brought a jacket in to Evans after a shop recommended them to fix some tears in the leather. The old man I talked to said he would make patches under the jackets lining so they would be less noticeable. I was pleased with the end result, patches were seamless and the only remnants of the tears were a few scars on the leather.Price was reasonable but not cheap, definitely worth getting a quote though.
great repairs
I dropped a pair of boots to a heel to be repaired at Evans. It cost me $75 and I was told that it would take up to a week and I shall get a txt message when it's ready. A week later, having received no txt messages I called up Evans to check if my boots are ready. I had to call three times in a day to track down my boots -1st call at 10am - I was told to to call back in 2 hours because she's too busy to look for the boots2nd call at 12pm - again I was told to cal back at 3pm3rd call at 3pm - the staff finally managed to track it down and told me it's readyWhen I picked up my boots, the heel was back in place, but I can see glue all around the heel. It was obvious that a lot of glue was applied to the heel. When I wore it for the first time, I found two nails inside the boot. After two hours' of walking, my heel came apart again... the workmanship at this place is shocking! I would not go back again.
A lovely family friendly business! Always love going in and having a chat to Mr Evans. High quality repairs!
Complete rip off and waste of time. I was treated horribly by the woman who runs the store. She is incredibly rude. I went in to get some scuff marks polished up on my leather ankle boots and she tried to upsell me and told me they needed new soles and heels (which they definitely don't need). She wanted to charge me $120!!! I got her down to $50, which is still a ridiculous amount considering all they did was a polish. I was told to come back the next Friday (a week later). This seemed like a long time for a small job, but I figured they were busy or only had one person doing the work. I came back on the Friday and my boots weren't ready. She rudely asked me if I'd received a text. I said no, that she just told me to come back on Friday. She didn't apologise and just snapped at me that they always send a text. Well, no one told me that the week before. She then told me to come back in 30 minutes and they would be done. I came back over three hours later and they said they still weren't done. In fact they acted like they couldn't find my boots. I left worried that they had lost them. I then got back to my office and they called to say that they are now ready. I had to pick them up the next week, as I couldn't leave the office again. 4 trips to the store later, I finally had my boots back. They definitely did not look like they'd had a $50 treatment. Will not be back.
They do an alright job. However, 1 star is for their unethical approach to doing businessEverytime I come in, the same job would have different price and they will always tell you that they are too busy to explain why it will costs that much to perform such job.
felt a bit like I went back in time coming into this place such a quaint and traditional shop and they did some amazing repair work on my satchel to. also received some good advice about keeping it in good condition. Nice to see places like this still exist.
I had my swiss leather boots re-soled, sewed and polished and work was done to an extremely high standard. They looked better than they had new. The job only took 3 working days and staff kept me updated throughout, they could tell how much the boots meant to me! Would 100% go back with any leather work I need doing and recommended it to family and friends.
Evans were great. They managed to revive one of my old pairs of R.M. Williams boots that I was certain had passed their used by date. Not sure what type of process they used to the treat the leather but their almost unrecognisable. Completely brought back the colour and shine so they look like new again. The lady I spoke to there was quite adamant they could do the job, still very impressed with how well they actually turned out. Cheers guys, Robert
I had the leather strap for my handbag remade at Evans a couple of weeks ago. Friendly service and as always great attention to detail. Very pleased its usable again!
Awful. Evans may have been around for over 50 years, but their workmanship certainly doesn't reflect it. I doubt the original cobblers are even there anymore.I took three pairs of brand new shoes into Evans, after the Chanel boutique recommended them. What I was after was very simple - I wanted Topy rubber soles added to my shoes to increase their longevity. Simple enough procedure and something cobblers do regularly.I picked them up about a week later, only to find - a huge scratch on the metal band that wrapped around one pair of flats; and small scuffs/nips (leather was coming off) to the tips of the other two pairs. I was furious. They didn't charge me for the work, but that's not good enough - my shoes were damaged before I'd even had a chance to wear them. I had to pay Louis Vuitton to replace the metal band. The two other pairs I had to just accept as is and move on.I am never going to Evans again. It's clearly one of those places that was amazing 50 years ago, but is now just riding on that history and nothing more.
A dreadful experience right from the start. WAY too expensive and really poor quality "restoration" of a handbag. It was totally ruined and Mr Evans just could not see it! He had painted all over the metal trim, it was all blotchy & it cost $150 !!He was SO rude & arrogant. Stay away at all costs,They should not be allowed to operate,Total rip-off.
They have ruined my boots. I paid almost $100 for a half heelblock and half sole replacement (which I've since learnt is a complete rip-off). Recently the sole of my boots have started pulling away and it turns out Evans "ground through the stitching" that holds my boots together in order to apply the new half sole. I am no shoe repairer and even I know that is a shoddy job. Never ever ever again.
I took a pair of boots here for a simple heel replacement on a recommendation from a friend who told me all David Jones shoe repairs are done here. Once I'd paid for the repair and left the store I realised they had polished/dyed my $400 boots to a darker brown. A couple of weeks later my right heel developed a popping noise every time I walked. I definitely won't be taking any thing here again. Very poor.
Evans Restoration in the Royal Arcade does have a justifiable reputation for quality in craftsmanship but this can be more than offset by poor customer service by the staff generally. The service could be improved by ensuring that the customer has an itemised list of the tasks to be performed on the leather goods and their associated price. In the absence of this list, my leather boots were subject to dyeing process which I had not wanted but had been charged for in the total quote. Mr. Evans has a particular asthetic and attention to excellence that is to be commended but he did not follow my instructions on the restoration of my boots and did what he thought ought to be done from his perspective. He did not engage with me directly until it became clear that I was unlikely to collect the boots as they were unacceptable in their dyed form. It was evident that Mr. Evans did not hold my view of the best approach to restoring my boots in high esteem and had taken it upon himself to do what in his view was the most aesthetic work. A clash of cultural values perhaps but more troubling was the poor manners of Mr. Evans and the staff where customers are made to feel less important than the leather goods. Hmmmm....
I have used Evans' services a few times over the years and my experiences have been good and bad. While they do a great job and there is no doubt that their focus is on the quality of the work, they falter with customer service.Evans would benefit from giving their customers greater transparency with a price guide. You can easily feel like you are being taken for a ride when the price for a difficult task on once occasion is then the same amount quoted for a simple job on the next. It's also a good idea to call ahead and check if your items are ready on the day they have specified for pick up, as in my experience they do not notify you if there is a delay.Evans need to loose the attitude and stop inferring that if you question why something costs what it does you or your items are cheap.
Amazing Restoration. Probably one of the best in town, highly recommended. BUT, price is expensive. Quality is always there at it's best.
